LA LAND DEL FORUM, UN PREZIOSO PUNTO DI RIFERIMENTO - THE FORUM LAND, A VALUED POINT OF REFERENCE

La Land del Forum di SL si pone come luogo di aggregazione per gli utenti del forum e per tutti i residenti italiani che amano riunirsi in un ambiente amichevole ed informale, inoltre offre accoglienza ed aiuto a chi entra per la prima volta in SL. A differenza di altre land italiane, altrettanto ben organizzate, la Land del Forum si caratterizza per l'assenza di aspetti commerciali e per la sua progettualità: amici sempre disponibili all'aiuto e offerta di numerosi e utili freebies; iniziative di ogni tipo, culturali e di intrattenimento. Importantissima la possibilità di rezzare e sperimentare building, è sufficiente iscriversi al gruppo, il tutto senza costo alcuno. Il Forum del gruppo offre momenti di condivisione di esperienze, di dialogo e di informazione; ospita inoltre il Progetto Wiki, preziosa raccolta di documentazione in lingua italiana su SL, che usufruisce del contributo di tutti gli utenti. Da quando ho iniziato a frequentare la land, che chiamiamo affettuosamente landa, sono stata subito colpita dall'entusiasmo di ognuno, qui tutti possono dare il loro contributo con le loro idee e la loro disponibilità in caso di necessità, è come essere a casa in compagnia di buoni amici!

The Forum Land is a meeting place for the Forum subscribers and for all the Italian residents that love to gather in a friendly and informal environment, moreover it gives welcome and help to people that enter SL for the first time. Unlike other Italian lands, the same well organized, the Forum land is characterized by the lack of business and its planning quality: friends always available for helping and a large offer of useful freebies; initiatives of every kind, cultural and for entertainment. In the land it is possible to rez and to experiment building, this is a very important chance and it is quite free. The Group Forum offers moments for sharing experiences and ideas and for receiving information; it gives hospitality to the Wiki Project, a valued collection of documents about SL translated into Italian language that takes advantage of all subscribers contribution. Since I started to frequent the land, that we are tenderly used to call "landa", I was immediately impressed by everyone's enthusiasm, here all people can contribute with their ideas and their availability in case of need, it is like to stay at home with good friends!

IMPARARE IN SECOND LIFE - LEARNING IN SECOND LIFE

SL non è solo gioco fine a se stesso, è soprattutto un mondo dove apprendere, per esprimere al massimo la propria potenzialità creativa. Vi si tengono corsi di formazione utilissimi per acquisire competenze di vario tipo: building, scripting, lingua inglese... il tutto all'insegna dell'apprendimento collaborativo, dove il contributo di ognuno diventa patrimonio di tutti, i formatori sono preparatissimi e disponibili all'aiuto.
Seguire un corso è anche un modo per conoscere nuovi amici con cui condividere i propri interessi, da quando ho fatto questa scelta infatti la mia seconda vita è cambiata decisamente in meglio: ho sempre qualcosa da fare che mi impegna in modo costruttivo e divertente.
Tra i formatori più preparati ed attivi è doveroso citare gli appartenenti ai gruppi ALI (Accademia delle land italiane) Blender per il fashion, Imparafacile, Opensource Obscure, SecondLearning Italy, Second Physics, Wings - Let's Fly with creativity.

SL is not only an end in itself game, it is above all a world where you can learn for expressing your own creative potential. In SL there are very useful educational courses for acquiring various skills: building, scripting, English... everything is characterized by a collaborative learning and every single share becomes everyone's property, the teachers are very qualified and available for helping.
Following a course is a way for knowing new friends too, and sharing our own interests with them, since I made this choice indeed my second life got really better: I have always something interesting to do that involves me in a constructive and amusing way.
It is right to mention the most qualified and active teachers like those belonged to the groups ALI (Accademia delle land italiane) Blender per il fashion, Imparafacile, Opensource Obscure, SecondLearning Italy, Second Physics, Wings - Let's Fly with creativity.

SANDBOX O CAMPO DI BATTAGLIA? SANDBOX OR BATTLEFIELD?

Non tutti i residenti di SL sono dei sognatori... alcuni hanno come unico scopo quello di sfogare, approfittando dell'anonimato, l'aggressività che nella real life non è possibile praticare senza incorrere in seri problemi. Io ho incontrato un gruppo di questi bulli in un sandbox, luogo che dovrebbe essere deputato all'attività più eccellente di SL, costruire...
In un attimo hanno circondato me e la casa che stavo costruendo, dopo avermi rivolto sconci commenti per l'aspetto del mio avatar (ho un avatar piuttosto attraente) sparando con strane armi tipo bazooka, erano tutti vestiti di nero alla Matrix e portavano occhiali scuri; sono stata catapultata lontano, bloccata in ogni movimento mentre tutto ballava intorno a me e risuonava come in un bombardamento.
Ho raccontato in giro la mia esperienza e molti hanno sdrammatizzato dicendomi che SL non va preso molto sul serio, in fin dei conti si tratta di un gioco... Non condivido assolutamente questa posizione, certo stiamo giocando, sicuramente siamo pupazzi, ma ogni avatar ha un'anima che gli dà la persona che lo gestisce, nulla ci autorizza ad offendere e maltrattare l'essere umano che sta dietro l'avatar.
Di questo episodio ricordo la rabbia provata, per niente virtuale, e continuo a chiedermi perchè si permettano simili combattimenti in posti pubblici, dove tutti hanno diritto di stare.

Not all the residents in SL are dreamers... some of them have as only purpose to give vent to their own aggressiveness that in Real Life it is not possible to practise without running into serious problems; they take advantage from anonymity. I met a group of these bullies in a sandbox, a place that would be devoted to the most important activity in SL, building...
In a moment they surrounded me and the house I was building, after having addressed me obscene comments for my avatar appearance (I have got an attractive avatar) firing with strange weapons similar to bazookas, they were all dressed in black, in Matrix style and wore dark glasses; I was ejected farway, stuck without any possibility to move while everything bumped around me and echoed like during a bombing.
I told my experience around and some people were less dramatic saying me that I had not to take SL seriously, it is only a game after all... I really do not agree with this opinion, of course we are playing, certainly we are puppets, but every avatar has got a soul that his owner gives to it, there is nothing that can authorize us to offend and abuse the human being that is behind the avatar.
I remember the anger I experienced during this fact, my anger was not virtual at all, and I keep on asking me why they allow combats like these in public places where everyone has the right to stay.
